HTC ENGAGES WITH TWELVE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT (SASKATCHEWAN CAUCUS IN OTTAWA)

REGINA SASKATCHEWAN, Jeff Allison- SVP HTC Purenergy along with representatives from the University of Regina’s Green House Gas Technology Centre completed a comprehensive presentation to the twelve members of Parliament who comprise “the Saskatchewan Caucus in Ottawa”. The presentation involved an in-depth overview on CO2 capture and storage (CCS), showcasing the newest technologies utilized in HTC’s CCS Purenergy 1000 pre-engineered modular capture unit.

During the presentation, Mr. Allison laid out HTC’s comprehensive CO2 capture and management strategy to help elevate Canada to a leadership position in controlling Green House Gas Emissions. He also clearly presented how this Saskatchewan based technology could be immediately implemented in a cost effective and timely manner. Mr. Allison’s presentation was followed by Dr. Malcolm Wilson, who explained the University of Regina’s global leadership in research and technology development in CO2 management, CO2 enhanced oil recovery and CO2 sequestration.

The HTC/University of Regina delegation later attended “Question Period” in the Parliament of Canada where Green House Gas Emissions were hotly debated by both the Government and the Opposition Parties. All political parties in Government are concerned about Green House Gas Emissions and the consequences of “Global Warming”, and are voicing the concerns of their constituents on this subject.

Mr. Allison Commented: “HTC Purenergy has the solution to meet these challenges NOW! We are looking forward to working with the Saskatchewan Caucus to ‘Green Light” the commercializing of these technologies going forward.
