HTC Hydrogen Technologies Corp. Announces Name Change to “HTC Purenergy Inc.”
Regina, Saskatchewan, - HTC Hydrogen Technologies Corp. dba HTCPurenergy (TSXV:HTC), a clean energy technology company that is commercializing CO2 Capture/Storage Technologies for Enhanced Oil Recovery (“EOR”) and geo-sequestration, today announced that it has changed its name to HTC Purenergy Inc. Effective February 21, 2008, the common shares of HTC Purenergy Inc. will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, and the common shares of HTC Hydrogen Technologies Corp. will be delisted. HTC Purenergy Inc. will continue to trade under the symbol HTC.
HTC has registered the name “HTC Purenergy” as its trademark and has been conducting business under the name “HTC Purenergy” since August 30, 2005. The Board of Directors of HTC believes the name change from “HTC Hydrogen Technologies Corp.” to “HTC Purenergy Inc.” to more accurately reflect HTC’s clean energy technologies and commercial product offers.
HTC launched the world’s first modular, pre-engineered CO2 Capture System, called the “Purenergy CCS 1000 ™” and is globally commercializing this product through its head office in Regina (Canada), with commercial offices in Sydney (Australia), Beijing (China), and Vermont (USA) and strategic partner manufacturing/assembly facilities in Regina and Carseland Alberta.
