HTC Purenergy's goal is to deliver practical technology solutions for chemical, petrochemical, gas, and oil industries in order to increase the productivity at minimum capital and operating expenditure. The main areas of expertise are as follows:
- Designing Gas Purification Systems,
- Engineering Solvents for Gas Purification systems,
- Designing Solvent Reclaiming Systems,
- Conducting Process Design and Optimization for Industrial Processes,
- Providing Engineering Services.
HTC works in conjunction with its collaborative partners - Doosan Power Systems, Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC), International Performance Assessment Centre, "(IPAC-CO2)" and other international research organizations to assist in delivering these services.
On September 3, 2008 HTC signed a global licensing agreement for carbon capture and storage technology with one of the world's leading power plant equipment supplier and power plant constructors - Doosan Babcock Energy of the UK and with Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction of South Korea. Doosan is currently utilizing HTC's post combustion capture technologies, and will be marketing the system through their twenty regional offices worldwide.
