HTC's Carbon Credit Validation

HTC's product offering also includes managing carbon credits. HTC has the ability to supply its client with carbon credits to help meet their emission reduction targets. Though carbon credits may only be an interim solution, HTC will provide its clients with carbon credits while they work with their clients to design and build a permanent capture product solution. HTC's capacity to provide carbon credits is through its subsidiary Carbon Credit Management (CCM). CCM is involved in the origination, sales and trading of a physical supply of carbon credits and offsets and is a provider of risk management and hedging services to compliance firms.

CCM transacts in both domestic and international markets. CCM invests directly in Canadian carbon credit-creating projects through various forms of structured transactions taking principal risk and receiving credits from the projects. CCM will market portfolios of credits to industrial emitters and other institutions on a bi-lateral basis .
