Hydrogen Technology Platforms
HTC has developed multiple technologies to produce hydrogen. The new multi-feedstock pre-commercial production demonstration plant is designed to accommodate all of these technologies. The plant allows for the testing and improvement of commercial designs. It also allows for changes in process design, process optimization and integration, and the modification of other key components such as catalysts and membranes. The plant will have additional command, control and monitoring devices facilitating the detailed scientific understanding of the processes as to why and how certain processes work better than others. The technology platform will be further tuned by improving and upgrading of the hydrogen production process designs and validation to allow HTC to decide on final configurations for its various commercial-scale models that will minimize the need for external utilities.
